Caledonian MacBrayne (Calmac) runs ferries from Uig at the North end of Skye to Tarbert in Harris which is the closest ferry port to Creagach. There is an alternative route from Ullapool to Stornoway on Lewis. There has never been a cheaper time to travel to the Western Isles by ferry as fares were recently halved and brought into line with the RET road equivalent tariff.
Upon leaving Tarbert travel direction Stornoway for approx 2 miles until you see the road sign for Hushinish B887 take this road. Note when you reach the castle gates carry on straight through.
