Comments from the Chalet Guestbook

We have stayed in many many cottages, but have never recieved such a warm welcome! fresh baked bread and scones, beat that! All the family went out of their way to make our stay special. The location is just fantastic, saw a pod of whales from the window. The isolation and tranquility made for a most relaxing holiday, while Jack and Francis, (11 & 9) climbed, explored and swam to their hearts content. Best of all, our border terrier Smudger had a fantastic stay. We only had a week but became enchanted with the Isles. We will return, and will stay longer. Thank you so much Geof, Nichola, Francis & Jack. 14th August 2010.

Absolutely fabulous, lovely chalet, the kids were over the moon with the beach and fishing off the rocks, best mackeral ever tasted, jumped onto the hooks. No sign of grumpy daddy!! Feel very sad to leave and everyone wants to come back. Neil, Susan, Sean & Eve 31st July 2010.

I had a brilliant time on the beach and caught a lot of fish, Sean Age 6.

Thank you for our warm welcome and many kindnesses, we have loved being here and cosying up when it rained outside only to be gloriously sunny again after a short spell. We have swum in the sea, climbed the cnoc mor to see Kilda in the distance and we had an expidition to Traigh Mheilean, fantastic memories of this place and a wonderful pace of life to enjoy it all. Kristin, Olive and Nic, Glasgow 24th July 2010.

Thank you so much for a wonderful week we didnt think we've ever stayed in such a well equipped cottage and had such a welcome, we've really appreciated all your efforts and kindnesses, newly baked bread & scones on arrival, complimentary dog biscuits and even our personal bagpipe recital. Creagach Chalet is a very special place and we've all enjoyed it so much including Bonnie and Inca. Ali and Julien Sandler, Suffolk, 12-19 June 2010.

Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely cosy chalet, thank you for the scones and bread the cottage was nice because it was near to the beach, the lambs were cute and I will always use the lambs names which were Bullseye, Diamond, Matilda and the ones me and my sister made up was Rosebud and Patches, lots of love, Ellie/Katie Rowe age 8, Buckinghamshire, 11 June 2010.

What a fabulous place, how lucky we have been to join our dear friends nick and liz on their holiday here, this is truly a land of enchantment nearly a planet distinct from the earth we have come to know, may we return again and again. exploring is the fruit of the soul. Jack Mira Berkeley, Fredinia NY, 2nd June 2010.

Great antidote to the hurly burly of a working life, if you are feeling fit and adventurous the ultimate getaway walk is from near the power station up and over to Loch a Ghlinne and on to Hushinish. golden eagles, deer, terns nesting on an islet in the loch and one or several cuckoos all along the route. hard going at times map reading important 3.5 hours. well worth it especiallyfor the paddle at the end. otherwise just take time to breath the clean air and recharge the batteries in this magical timesless place. no need to rush it will all be waiting for you when you return. Great hosts and very comfortable hideaway. We will be back. Nick & Liz Hayward, Northumberland
