It was a wet and windy week for us on Harris, but we still enjoyed our holiday in this lovely, cosy Chalet. Thank you for looking after us and for the delicious home baking. The kids particularly enjoyed our daily meet with the coo's on their way up and down the road. We can recommend the Distillery and local pool for a rainy day and the sand dunes behind Luskentyre beach are huge, amazing fun to run down and a good shelter from the wind.

Duncan, Anna, Jocelyn & Thomas, Ross-shire, 19th October 2019.

Thank you for a fabulous holiday. Creagach was just right, and you have provided everything. Bramble says she appreciated the special consideration for dogs. We love the area and thank you for recommending great walks. Highly recommended Chalet in an outstanding location.

Margaret & Peter + Bramble the dog, Brecon, September 7th 2019.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. We felt at home straight away. A lovely, cosy place to stay, so thoughtfully fitted out and provided for.  Great base for walking, unforgettable walk to Mheilen beach, Golden Eagles too. Many thanks for the home baking.

Kath & Laurence, North Yorkshire, 31st August 2019.

We have enjoyed our stay at Creagach so much. Thank you so much for your lovely Chalet, your hospitality, your wonderful baking and amazing dog toy basket. Sad to be leaving. You live in the most beautiful place.

Annette & Ian + Archie & Roly the dogs, Snowdonia, 24th August 2019.

What a brilliant couple of weeks we have had! The weather has been amazing and although there has been lots of rain there has also been lots of sunshine more than warm enough to swim in the ocean - floating around in the turquoise water - fantastic! A lovely walk to the Mheilen beach must be the most beautiful beach in the World. Lots of walks and cycle rides. Amazing wildlife and the daily visits by the Highland cows. We have seen deer, red-throated divers, goosanders, eider ducks, oystercatchers terns and lots of birds too fast to identify! Saw a Golden Eagle up the road, amazing, just soaring about.  Best of all was a close encounter with an otter on the beach. Wish we could stay here!! Thank you.

Woof Woof Woof! I've had a brilliant holiday! made friends with the Highland cows and tried eating grass as they do. Loved the beach and the sinky sand, was very exciting. Mum tried to teach me to swim, but I did not like it! Paddling and chasing the ball was good fun. Sat on a jellyfish when mum tried to take a photo of it!!! Ronnie.

Steve & Louise + Ronnie Barker, the dog Isle of Man, 16th August 2019.

What has really set this holiday apart is the amazing hospitality. The Chalet has been beautifully decorated and has every home comfort. A big thank you for being so welcoming, the lovely chats and for the home baking!!

Elizabeth & Stephen, Penrith, 27th July 2019.

Was too short, as usual, a real mix of weather. Very cosy Chalet and a brilliant location. Sad to be leaving.  We have enjoyed a wonderful holiday with beautiful weather. Would highly recommend the walk to the beach overlooking Scarp. We were delighted to see a stag, an eagle and even starfish.

Trevor, Silke & Eilidh, Linlithgow, 20th July 2019.

First time on Harris, 'wow' What a beautiful place. The Chalet & views are amazing. Beaches fantastic, ocean very cold definitely need a wetsuit, fantastic walks, dogs have loved it. Really don't want to leave 'ever' will miss the sheep, especially 'Floppy' Loved the highland cattle visiting. Huge thank you for a memorable, wonderful stay, never usually repeat holidays due to all the places we want to see/stay but somehow feel like we will be back here.

Trisha & Nick + Peanut & Cuba the dogs, Bradford, 6th July 2019.

This was our third visit here, and again we had a lovely welcome. The weather has been really kind to us (while the rest of the Country flooded)! It's been so relaxing, a much-needed break. Thank you for the Birthday cake and the treats for the dogs. We will be back!!

Matt & Gina + Bella & Brue the dogs, Glossop, 15th June 2019.

Thank you so much for a very warm welcome. The fresh bread and cake were perfect! We have all enjoyed the peace and beauty of Hushinish, walking and exploring locally and further afield. We've been blown about by strong winds and drizzle as well as soaking up some lovely sunny days with even a swim in the beautiful turquoise ocean. What a rich and memorable holiday we have had. Thank you!!!

Keith & Moira, London, 7th June 2019.

Thanks for such a warm welcome and cosy place to stay. The cakes went down a treat. We had a lovely week exploring about. It's a beautiful Island.

David & Kath + Jet & Amber the dogs, Inverness, 1st June 2019.

Arrived to a warm welcome, cosy chalet and the smell of newly baked bread plus all "mod cons" including a fan for Mel for the hot weather which was used in the first week.  Good dog walks on the way to the main road. This year I have heard the cuckoo at least 20 times on the Island. Caught sight of deer, found an antler. It is a joy to walk in the quiet hills and acquire more beautiful tweed from Donald John. This is my 3rd visit to Harris, the wilderness of the landscape is the soul food I need.

Lynn + Mel the dog, Shropshire, 25th May 2019.

Thank you for an amazing couple of weeks. The Chalet is ace - warm & cosy and very well equipped. Thank you for the baking, which we managed to eat in 24 hours! We've seen Golden Eagles pretty much every day, and usually twice in a day, really amazing!! The mountain biking is beautiful (but brutal) and the snorkelling around the bay is also ace! full suit and hoods required it's a bit chilly in the water. Favourite part of the trip was sitting in the sun on the white sands overlooking Scarp, watching dolphins. A pretty magic moment. Loved the sheep, the cows, the tiny newborn calves. Thank you once again. It has been a pretty idyllic trip.

Eddie & Corinna, Peak District, 20th April 2019.

This was our first time on Harris and we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay than Creagach Chalet. fantastic hosts and homemade scones. We have had a fantastic time, Jethro & Lois have had a ball.

Jean, Robert & Linzi + Jethro & Lois the dogs, Fife, 11th April 2019.

This was a trip planned for a long time. A Birthday gift for Lorraine from her family orchestrated by Julia, her sister!! Harris was a place on Lorraine's wish list and it did not disappoint. The week has given us an array of forever changing scenes, all beautiful, which have been the backdrop to our time at this warm and cosy Chalet. The hosts have been wonderful and were also enlisted to help with the Birthday surprise and placed balloons and flowers all ready for our arrival. We have so enjoyed being the guests at Creagach Chalet this week. The Chalet, being so remote and away from it all, means everything anyone could need has been provided for. Thank you, it has been the perfect spot in the perfect place to celebrate a special Birthday with lovely folk and all they have to give.

Lorraine & Julia, 16th March 2019.

Thank you for a great stay you have been wonderful. Bedersaig: fantastic colours, fantastic moods and scenery and of course fantastic weather, two storms in 10 days, never a dull moment. Hope to return soon.

Barbara, Bornholm Denmark, 15th February 2019.

Thank you for the great week I had. Amazing to walk over the snow-covered mountains. Thank you again for the warm welcome and hospitality. Every time I come here is still amazing, all your sheep are so funny, hope to come back soon.

Bert, Netherlands, January 28th 2019.

You have thought of everything; the Chalet is so wonderful, warm & cosy. Shadow loved his bed and made good use of the towels after fantastic exploring. What a place! We saw plenty of deer, rabbits, starlings, an otter, and had some of the best walks. Thank you for the delicious baking and interesting chats and for all the information you so willingly gave, I will be back.

Lorna + Shadow the dog, Kinrosshire, 22nd January 2019.

Thank you so much, an amazing Chalet in a spectacular location. Perfect accommodation and perfect holiday.

Gill & Ian + Barkly & Rhum, 24th November 2018.

One week has definitely not been enough to enjoy this wonderful Island and the fabulous Chalet. This is by far the best holiday rental we have ever had, it's just perfect. Such a warm, honest welcome. Your hospitality really helped make our stay comfortable, and the baking was very much appreciated. Such a pleasure to find somewhere our dog is provided for as much as us. We have enjoyed some of the best walking too, especially the walk over to Mheilen Beach & Crabhadail, where we saw an otter. We will most certainly be back!

Vicky & Richard + Ruby the lab, East Sussex, 8th September 2018.

Wonderful place to stay, everything we could have hoped for. We both love the Sea, the coastlands and unspoiled countryside and this has been the best! Thank you so much for providing such an idyllic Chalet for your guests to enjoy. We have stayed in lots of holiday homes and yours is definitely our favourite. Everything had been thoughtfully provided and carefully planned, so it was very comfortable and relaxed.  We so enjoyed our weeks and trips out, and every day was different. Balmy, sunny days, windswept beaches, 1 day of rain. Ah well, it is the Hebrides ;-) We are going home refreshed and relaxed, perfect peace.

Ian & Jenny, Cumbria, 18th August 2018.

We've had a great couple of weeks, we don't want to leave! This is the best place we have stayed in, a combination of the fabulous location, superb Chalet and the wonderful hosts. The Chalet have everything you need and is warm and cosy. We stayed local and still didn't do all we wanted. We had long walks, mountain bike rides and even swimming in the Atlantic Ocean - surprisingly warm! From the sunburn to torrential downpours, we have had every kind of weather and enjoyed it all. There is wildlife everywhere you look. Thrilled to have watched red-throated divers on nearby Loch. This holiday has left us feeling relaxed and re-invigorated, we shall miss our walks. Thank you for an amazing couple of weeks.

Steve & Louise + Ronnie Barker the dog, Isle of Man, 4th August 2018.

It's difficult to find anything new to say that hasn't been said before. I echo all that your other visitors have mentioned. It has been a week to remember. Although I've been on Harris a number of times before, this is the best holiday yet. I stayed as local as possible, going only as far as Scalpay for a guided walk to watch whales and to Tarbert to catch the boat trip to the Shiants (with Dotty). Both of these excursions gave me so many happy memories, absolutely wonderful! I had thought the hot spell would have finally ended this week, but it didn't and this just added to the recipe for a holiday of a lifetime. Thank you, the Chalet is the best and the scones are delicious. It has been a pleasure and a privilege.

Ros, North Yorkshire, 6th July 2018.

Again we enjoyed every moment we spent in the Chalet, especially the kindness and hospitality. This is what you want to reset from daily business. The Chalet is perfect; you don't need more!

Bert, Laban, Ko Netherlands, 29th June 2018.

We came back for 2 weeks this time and it is still not long enough. This place just makes you feel so calm and relaxed it is glorious. We have enjoyed all the wildflowers, birds, dolphins, deer, and especially the sheep and cows. We have walked endlessly here and on other parts of Harris and Lewis enjoying every moment in all weathers returning at the end of the day to a lovely Chalet, cosy and welcoming with everything we need. We leave this place with heavy hearts and know we shall return next year.  In the meantime we shall close our eyes and remember this fabulous place "When oft upon my couch I lie, remembering with my inner eye"... ahhh, thank you.

Ann & Andrew, Norfolk, 22nd June 2018.

Thank you both for helping us to enjoy a really restful & relaxing holiday. Your hospitality was wonderful.  The Chalet is so thoughtfully equipped and the location beautiful. There are so many beautiful places on Harris and Lewis but, for us, exploring the immediate locality was the best of all. Thank you both.

John & Alison, Harrogate, 9th June 2018.

Had a fabulous stay, very lucky with a week of sunshine so lots of visits to the amazing beaches. The Chalet has everything you need and hostesses who can't do enough for you. We'll definitely be back, sad to leave.

Beth & Duncan + Caley the dog, Edinburgh, 6th June 2018.

From the initial warm welcome & still hot freshly baked bread to the friendly chats over the garden gate. The Chalet is so cosy & stocked with everything you need and more. Being at the road end & across from my Husband's maternal Grandparent's home, made this trip to the Island even more special. The visits from the sheep, lambs, chooks & coos gave us plenty of great photo opportunities. The warm, sunny weather has been a bonus and we have thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the Chalet to sit outside with a long cold drink. We will definitely return to the Island and now have new friends to visit and a lovely place to stay, thanks for everything.

Paula & Norman, Renfrewshire, 20th May 2018.

What a wonderful week we have had here! The weather has been mixed, but seeing the Island in sunshine & rain has added to the experience. We've seen red deer, sea eagles, gannets, guillemots, stonechats, plovers.... The beaches are everything you'd expect from seeing photos! we particularly enjoyed the walk to Crabhadail - we had the beach to ourselves. Luskentyre is, of course, amazing! Having the tide times provided was so helpful. Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot, we hope to see you again.

Helen & Alex, Lanarkshire, 12th May 2018.

We awoke to Redwings in the garden, saw Gannets plummeting into the Ocean. Eagles soaring over the crags, whilst Ravens croaked over the cliffs, red deer merged into the grass. Skies at night alive with unexplored Galaxies. Such a well equipped Chalet with a warm welcome. Great memories, great weather, great location, great!!!

Mike & Angela, + Dougie & Max the dogs, Kent, April 14th 2018.

What better place for some Winter sun?! Harris was wild and wonderful, 4 seasons in 1 hour - fantastic!  The Island is beautiful whatever Mother Nature has in store and the Chalet has everything you could wish for.  An extremely memorable stay and the next one is already being planned, felt right at home.

John + Zoe the dog, London, January 19th 2018.

Thank you for everything. We had a magical time, here again, beautiful scenery and relaxing. We have been amazed and awestruck by the unique Winter light in the Hebrides. Mark enjoyed getting out for some quiet moments with his camera and adding to our collection of Lewis Chessmen. Harris, of course, loved running wild on his favourite beaches and relaxing with his new teddy bear. We all look forward to our next visit.

Lorraine, Mark, Liz, Duncan + Harris the dog, Kyle, January 2nd 2018.

What a Chalet, what a setting, what a location, what an Island!!! Love that we have mostly had the beach to ourselves, daily at one with the elements, quite a wild week of weather and very happy to have seen porpoises, Golden Eagles, Sea Eagles, and enjoyed close proximity to the delightful highland cows.

Scott & Jackie + Riley and Ella the dogs, Fife, 14th October 2017.

Our week at this wonderful place has just flown by. We went on awesome walks every day and saw unforgettable views, and experienced the grandeur of this magical place. Sadly, it's over until next time.

Robert & Chantelle + Florrie the dog, Cheshire, September 30th, 2017.

So glad that we came across Creagach Chalet, it's been a very busy, but very chilled week. We've had the delight of dolphins, seals, highland cattle, sheep and the wonderful Golden Eagles. The Chalet is amazing, a real home from home, there's nothing you haven't thought of and you deliver a first-class holiday home. We would love to come back one day. Thank you for your warm welcome and advice on walks, trips and places to see. The dogs have loved the beaches and walks.

Laura, Betty + Oonagh and Storm the dogs, Inverness, September 23rd 2017.

Words cannot tell how much this trip has meant to us, a Chalet equipped with everything. When we arrived, we were able to take in the glorious view in the sunshine. We first fell in love with Hushinish beach when we found it five years ago and being able to spend a whole week in "Rocky" Chalet was ideal.  We've relaxed our bodies, refreshed our minds, and made our spirits feel at ease again. That's what this place does for you! We've had days of sunshine with shimmering, luminous (almost tropical!) views, with a beach all to ourselves, and also times of howling winds and rain with such profound darkness all around. Nothing could be better than this mix. Thanks to the chooks for the best eggs and thanks to the sheep just for their charm! With thanks from your first visitors from the Island of Ireland.

George & Helen, County Antrim, September 16th 2017.

Like last time, perfect Chalet, home from home. We've done so many walks this time, over to Mheilen having the beach to ourselves a treat. Will miss the lovely view from the window when I'm back home, but will be back.

Julie, Robert & Bryan + Marmite the dog, North Yorkshire, August 12th 2017.

Fantastic hospitality, the Chalet is well equipped, homemade bread and scones amazing! Where do we start? Breathtaking scenery, beaches on Harris & Lewis are stunning!! We have loved every second of our time here, if you don't mind a hike, go over to Mheilen Beach, we had it all to ourselves. Bonnie & Skye have had the time of their lives. This place does what it says on the tin, sadly not enough time to see it all....

Nell & John + Bonnie & Skye the dogs, Clackmannanshire, August 5th 2017.

Relaxing break, weather mixed but better than we expected.  Loved everything about Harris, especially the beautiful beaches and the visiting livestock.  Thanks for the home baking and hospitality, a great advert for our beautiful Country.  Hope we will see you again.

David & Mairi + Rebus, Regan & Merlin the dogs, Cardross, July 29th 2017.

Well, what can I say, thank you for this lovely Chalet, has everything we could need, even Charlie loved it, the homemade bread and fresh eggs were very welcome and very tasty. We have had the most relaxed and chilled out week travelling around Harris and up to Lewis, but is such a delight to spend a few days charging our batteries and giving Charlie a break from the car at the Chalet and going down to the beach.  I'm going to miss just walking out the door and seeing the beautiful scenery just outside. Watched Eagles and Sea Eagles flying over the bay, Stags on our way along the road. Loved every bit of the wee tranquil paradise.

George & Doreen + Charlie the dog, Fife, July 22nd 2017.

We had an absolutely fantastic time here; the weather was fab! The welcome we got was great. The chalet was and is 1st class! We can honestly say this won't be our last visit here. The dogs loved every minute of their holidays & loved all the attention. Don't want to go home, we have spent a week in paradise, thank you so much.

Mark, Donna, David & Debbie + Thor & Harley the dogs, Dumfries, July 15th 2017.

We had a lovely week in your lovely Chalet, there was everything we need and more. Lovely welcome with warm homemade bread. Great entertainment in the evening provided by the Highland Cows. Great beach on our doorstep. Thank you so much for the lovely Chalet, we will be back.

Lynn, Colin, Rachel & Ailsa, Strathaven, July 8th 2017.

Have had an amazing week. The weather has been fantastic; we weren't quite brave enough to swim but paddled and the water was lovely. Lots of amazing walks from the Chalet as well as a trip to the Lighthouse at Scalpay where we saw seals, dolphins, porpoises and minke whales. Lots of birds - Golden Plover, Golden Eagles, and one Sea Eagle over Cnoc Mor. The Chalet has been fantastic - so cosy to come back to at the end of a long day's walk. We had gins on the terrace and watched the Highland cows mosey up the road. The Chalet has everything you could need (and had forgotten) we want Dotty to come and organise our house, thank you very much, we'll be back next year if you can fit us in!

Jo & Eoghan, London, July 1st 2017.

Another superb week on Harris, beautiful scenery, superb beaches, wonderful special times. Had a great visit to St Kilda, Gannets & Puffins in their thousands. Our holiday was so special and unforgettable.

Richard & Jo + Clyde & Millie the dogs, Staffordshire, June 17th 2017.

This was our second visit to the Chalet and yet again we had a wonderful relaxing stay. The weather was really kind to us and gave us some great sunsets (albeit a little late at this time of year)! Great beaches, great scenery and fabulous hosts. Thank you again for the very warm welcome. We hope to see you again in the near future.

Matt & Gina + Bella the dog, Glossip, June 10th 2017.

This was our first trip to Harris, and it has exceeded all our expectations. We have loved every moment from the sea and skyscapes to wildlife and walking. Creagach Chalet was a wonderful place to stay not only for the fabulous situation and stunning views but also because it was cosy, clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you so much for all your help with local walks and the lovely homemade bread. It's the first time we have re-booked a holiday (and for longer next time) before we have even arrived home. It was amazing and we cannot wait to return, thank you.

Ann & Andrew, Norwich, June 3rd 2017.

Even with the highest expectations, Lewis and Harris have not disappointed. Helped by the fact that we have had 2 superb locations and have been blessed with superb weather. The range of textures and colours has been fantastic, and I have found a magical stillness and beauty on Mheilen, up on the Huiseabhal Beag, at Cleabhaig (wow), up Uladail, and the coastal path from Rhenigidale. We have been so lucky and hope to be back for further exploration. Thank you for the lovely home.

Mike & Ruth, Wales, May 13th 2017.

One of those few places where time is on your side.  We've had a wonderful time here, thank you so much!  The Chalet was wonderful and comfortable, and the Island is delightful.  We've seen marvellous beaches and loved the animals and wildlife,  especially the Highland Cattle, gorgeous.

Peter & Barbara, Southampton, May 6th 2017.

Thank you - perfection.

Jon & Zoe the labrador, London, April 8th-22nd 2017.

Huge thank you for a wonderful holiday, best bits, Traigh Mheilen beach is a little bit of heaven, Eagles out the back, Gannets out the front, beauty everywhere. What a privilege to share this. Thank you so much for the comfortable Chalet, very thoughtfully kitted out. We are so glad we came here to the best bit of Harris by far.

John & Debbie + Tember the dog, Cumbria, April 8th, 2017.

A wonderful week on Harris again. Drizzle, sunshine, rainbows and rain. Autumn colours that just go zing. Reds and yellows that really sing. A walk to see Golden Eagles that soar. Pristine beaches, we just want more. Boris the border loves his time here. He just keeps walking although 17 years. The hosts here are so wonderfully kind. No better place to holiday will you find. Cosiest Chalet, homemade scones & bread. What better place to lay your head.

Pauline & Rod + Boris the dog, Lancs, November 5th 2016.

So many lovely touches, we were made to feel very welcome & our golden retriever Harris was positively delighted with his special doggy bed, toys, bowls and even a yummy treat! We had a week filled with lazy times in the lovely comfortable Chalet combined with outdoor adventures in this most special place. The nice weather was an added bonus. Thank you for alerting us to the Northern Lights.

Lorraine & Mark, Elizabeth + Harris the dog, Kyle of Lochalsh, October 15th 2016.

Lovely to be back again in this very special place, which has a place in our hearts. Even the weather was smiling! Thanks so much for everything.

Janice & Angus + Raya & Skye the dogs, Cumbria, October 1st 2016.

The Chalet has everything you could need for a wonderful relaxing holiday. We haven't been blessed with the weather, but this hasn't stopped us from seeing such fabulous Islands and their wildlife. Thanks for making us feel so welcome and a big woof woof from Clyde & Millie. Will be back next year.

Richard and Jo + Clyde and Millie the dogs, Staffordshire, 19th September 2016.

We can only echo again, again & again the comments regarding the special touches that bring to the experience of staying here. As two very tired souls, we haven't been as active and adventurous as we would have liked (much to the disappointment of the four-legged friends in the party) but our tired souls have been rejuvenated and inspired being here. What a place to just "be". Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Rachel and Rachel + Brillo the dog, Oxfordshire, September 3rd 2016.

Relaxed, recharged and refreshed but not ready to go! A fantastic week in the most beautiful Chalet and surroundings. We had great weather and lots of scenic picnics. Hushinish is a very special place and our favourite spot on the Island. We have seen Eagles, Dolphins, Seals, so many birds, the local sheep and Highland cows made us smile.

Marianne & Stewart + Lucky the dog, Devon, August 27th 2016.

What a fantastic week we have had on Harris. On arrival shown around the perfect Chalet by Dotty and treated to the homemade bread and scones. The Children would have been more than happy to play on Hushinish beach for the entirety of the holiday, but we managed to see some of wild Harris. This place is stunning and we only hope to return to explore more of the Island. To top it off we have seen Golden Eagles, plenty of seabirds and even a seal. We hope to return to this fabulous place, Thank you.

Michael, Elissa, Grace, Noah and Thomas + Maya the dog, Lancashire, August 20th 2016.

Loved it!! perfect hosts, thanks so much for looking after Marmite so we could have a day on St. Kilda. Kayaking, snorkelling, 3 walks on the bird of prey trail, although had our best displays from the Chalet of 2 Golden Eagles on the rocks and 2 Sea Eagles the next day!! Mheilen Beach is a must-do! We loved every minute and will definitely return. Thank you so much.

Julie, Robert, Joe and Bryan + Marmite the dog, Yorkshire, August 13th 2016.

Had a super week. The weather has been mixed, but it hasn't stopped us from visiting the beautiful beaches that Harris & Lewis are famous for. Thank you, you seem to have thought of everything you need & much more, baking on arrival was fab. We have seen 2 Eagles from outside the Chalet and of course the Highland cows. Been lovely and relaxing and lots of fun. Maisie loved her doggie duvet.

Fiona, John and Lucy + Maisie the dog, Glasgow, July 23rd 2016.

Lovely week in Harris. The Chalet is cosy & well equipped. The beaches, as lovely as we remembered, loved the flowers in the machair & seeing the Eagles flying over our heads!!

Hutchenson family, Edinburgh, July 9th 2016.

First stay on Harris and had a lovely week!! Chalet has been wonderful, clean and very comfortable with the most amazing views. Walks are great but still haven't managed to do all of them. We've been amazed at how light it is, even at midnight. Definitely will return, thanks for sharing this place with people like us to see, we will miss the lovely sheep and the baby wagtails who are so adorable, I could write forever about this place!! we will miss it so much.

Donna and Michael, Leeds, 25th June 2016.

As last year, we were given a wonderful warm welcome. It was like coming home. It was Geoff's 86th Birthday on the day we arrived.

The weather has been fantastic, like being in the Med, as we spent all our time, except one day, walking around here. Over the peninsula we saw dolphins, Geoff called it "The promised Land" we wandered there most days, enjoying the birds, the flowers & the scenery. We were also delighted to be surrounded by the Highland cattle with young, we also loved being close to Dotty's sheep. All in all, a magical week.

Geoff and Irene Cumbria, June 4th, 2016.

We have had a wonderful holiday, fantastic weather! Lovely Chalet with everything needed in such a beautiful place. We will definitely be back to explore more of this beautiful Island and enjoy the fabulous beaches, we could stay forever. Thank you so much it's been fantastic.

Paul, Beverley & Lucy, Cheshire, 28th May 2016.

"Hushinish Heaven" Our second visit but first stay at wonderful Creagach. Hope we will be back for a third visit in due course. We were so lucky with wonderful weather all week and wonderful walks. Thank you so much.

Romilly & Jarden + Tummel the dog, Pitlochry and Sheila, Vancouver, 21st May 2016.

During my years of travelling and visiting various places all over the globe I have stayed in some amazing places, but it would be hard to beat this Chalet for location, peace, solitude and atmosphere. It's a real home from home, and after just one week here it will be a wrench to have to travel back to the real world!! Dotty & Christine are the perfect hosts, helpful, knowledgeable but never intrusive. Many thanks for looking after Ana for us while we took on a longer walk. Although we packed a lot of adventures in within 7 days, there are still things left unticked on our to-do list, which means we'll be back! And maybe spend a bit longer here next time.

Tony & Gill, + Flynn, Inci & Ana the dogs, 7th May 2016.

We love this place!! wonderful, beautiful, peaceful, nice folks. A clear night with countless stars! We will never forget this week, hope to return.

Bert & Laban, Netherlands, 29th April 2016.

Have loved our stay here, really enjoyed the drive to and from the main road. Each journey brought something different and some magnificent sunsets on return. All the wonderful animals and birds, especially the Highland Cattle family, which has increased since we've been here! And Dotty's purple bottom sheep! Jessie and Mabel, thank you for such a comfy bed and dog treats & they've had some great walks. Thank you sooo much.

Susie, + Jessie & Mabel the dogs, Edinburgh, April 17th 2016.

Had a fantastic week in a truly magical part of the World, the dogs have really settled into this place quickly and allowed us the real break and peace we were looking for. Already planning our return...

John & Liz, + Chico & Ludo the dogs, Glasgow, April 2nd, 2016.

We have had the most wonderful relaxing break here at Creagach as a family. An idyllic Chalet in the most stunning spot, so well kitted out and the fresh homemade bread and scones were a lovely touch. We had never been to Harris before, so everything was a surprise to us. The beaches were like being in Barbados (minus the heat, as it is March after all) Sunday was Mother's Day and after a very relaxing morning lazing about, we set off down to Hushinish beach, a short wander down the road truly is the most precious little gem of a beach. For hours in the sunshine, we played with the dog, admired the gorgeous views that changed with every lap of a wave, did cartwheels, took stunning photos and enjoyed quality family time laughing, joking, smiling and playing. I can honestly say I think it was the best Mother's Day I have ever had, finished by a Sunday roast cooked in our well equipped Chalet. We had the lucky experience (thanks to Dotty alerting us) of experiencing a show of Northern Lights right outside.

Mairi, Alan, Amber & Zander, + Sapphire the dog, March 7th 2016.

Creagach is one of the best places that we've stayed. Sketched on the beach then walked to the lovely beach round the coast, paradise Traigh Mheilein, had scones and tea on the beach. We will be back.

Helen, Tich, Joan & Islay the dog, Ratagan, March 2nd 2016.

We've spent an unforgettable week in this lovely, cosy Chalet in a landscape that has not stopped amazing us every day. Harris is breathtakingly beautiful. The doggies have enjoyed exploring the hills above the Chalet and have been tired out every evening on their dog bed, which was thoughtfully provided. We have enjoyed the walk down to Hushinish and some sunny, clear days. A few rain-soaked windy days all added to the atmosphere, and we enjoyed snuggling up by the fire in the Chalet with a glass of red. Thank you so much for such a warm welcome. We hope to be back one day.

Catherine & James, Lenny & Ruby, the dogs, Sheffield, November 10th 2015.

A perfect week of rest, relaxation & peace. A great place to stay, no need to go anywhere else. Lovely walks, beaches & sunsets.

Jill, Ullapool, October 17th 2015.

A simply wonderful week! We loved it, and the doggies had the time of their lives too!!   A big thanks for knocking on the door so we didn't miss the Northern Lights!!

Phil, Sarah and Oscar & Mika the doggies, Northumberland, October 10th, 2015.

Lovely time as ever on Harris. Pooped the dog out!! Thanks for a lovely stay in a cosy, clean, well equipped Chalet.

Rachael, Dave and Tagish the dog, Durham, October 3rd 2015.

Had a great week, enjoyed the walk down to the beach every day, the Seascape is amazing & always changing. Saw Eagles every day, also seals & dolphins but unfortunately not the elusive otters!!

Hugh, Susan & Mac the dog, Black Isle, 26th September 2015.

We've been to many Scottish Islands, but we think Harris is our favourite. We've had a great week since arriving. The Chalet is great and we would definitely come back sometime.

Paul & Emma, Teeside, September 19th 2015.

We arrived to such a warm welcome; the Chalet was ready and every attention to detail cared for. We very much enjoyed the lovely fresh bread and scones, which we ate on the beautiful sandy beach. Bella dog had so much fun running on the beach and jumping the waves, I think we finally tired her out by the end of the week. I really wish we could stay here longer, as there is so much to see and lots of places to explore. Many thanks for making us feel very welcome. We enjoyed a very relaxing memorable holiday.

Gina, Matt and Bella the dog, September 5th 2015.

Arrived in the gloom to a warm welcome. Lovely spot, books are brill particularly David Yeadon - Seasons on Harris and Bill Lawson - Harris in History and Legend. Maps proved useful, as did the tips on good cafes and places to visit. Saw Eagles all over the place and a red kite at Rodel. Had a lovely meal at the Community Bistro on Scalpay. Thank you for everything, have loved staying here.

John, Shirley, Faith + Zella the dog, Kendal, August 29th 2015.

When I tried to book your Chalet for August 2014, (18 months ago), you were fully booked, but it looked so idyllic I booked for 2015!! It has been everything I imagined and more! The scenery is breathtaking and your hospitality wonderful. We found lots of great places to use our kayaks, we'll have to come back to try some more. Cassie and Jess say thanks for the treats and super comfy dog bed. They have loved running on the sand and swimming in the sea, and have even learned to sit in a kayak.

Carole, Chris, Liz & Meg + Jess & Cassie the dogs, Bristol, August 21st 2015.

Very relaxing stay in a wonderful landscape, we enjoyed the warm hospitality, the nice walks, sunsets, beaches, sheep & cows. Impressive waves crashing against the rocks just down from the Chalet. Thanks for everything.

Rendtel family, Germany, August 15th 2015.

Thank you so much, we have had a wonderful week; we have covered most of Harris and Lewis from the Butt of Lewis in the North to Rodel Church in the South; the scenery is spectacular, and we have caught some amazing glimpses of the wildlife these Islands have to offer.

Thank you so much for the homemade treats, just what we needed after days out. Goes without saying, Phoebe had a brilliant time too.

Andy & Cathy, Alex & Samantha, + Phoebe the dog, Yorkshire, August 8th, 2015.

We can't thank you enough for everything you did that made our stay here unforgettable and very special, and that made us feel at home from the first moment.

Eric, Anke & Simon, Belgium, July 18th, 2015.

Lovely holiday, everything we hoped for. Lots of fun at the beach. The highlight was wild fishing. The boys caught loads of fish and improved their fishing skills. Fantastic hospitality loved the scones.

Sarah & Douglas, Andrew, Finlay, Lachlan, Killearn, July 11th 2015.

Amazing holiday right by the best family beach, tried the others and decided Hushinish was our favourite. Walked up to the top of the hill on a clear evening and the view from up there of all of Harris and the surrounding islands is utterly majestic.

Dean Family & Woody, the dog, Stirlingshire, July 4th 2015.

We had the most wonderful two weeks in this beautiful place. The Chalet is perfect and we've never stayed anywhere so dog friendly.

We are already planning our next holiday here.

Denise, Chris and Florrie & Wilf the dogs, Kendal June 27th 2015.

We have all had a great week here. Loved the beaches, the mountains, wildlife, the ancient landscape, just too much to see in a week and didn't want to rush it!! We shall miss everything, purple bottom sheep & the hens, the little puffin in the bay - hope he finds home.

Thanks for such a perfect holiday home.

Hilary, Malc & Lizzie, Tot & Berry the dogs, Leicestershire, June 13th 2015.

We were overwhelmed with this amazing Chalet, such good quality with everything here, wonderful situation. Loved the animals and the birds. The Eagles are huge! Thank you so much for our lovely holiday.

Martin & Ann, Gloucestershire, June 6th, 2015.

Wonderful week, very comfortable and well equipped Chalet with lovely welcoming and helpful hosts. Highlights of the week, seeing and photographing an otter at very close range, exploring this area and enjoying the walking. Meeting up with family on Lewis and revisiting long-loved beaches in that area, the Eagle walk and Callanish Stones.

Fred, Allison & Janice, Cumbria, May 23rd 2015.

Hard to beat this Holiday, and hospitality, such a warm welcome. The weather was snow, sleet, frost, a bit of rain and plenty of sunshine. Walked the Hushinish area, all the coves and bays walked the hills, toured the beaches and toured around the Island, including Lewis.

Took a bus trip to Tarbert then Luskentyre - Awesome! Been to Stornoway, Ness, Callanish Stones, etc. The local people are lovely and extremely interesting. Harris is relaxing and beautiful with so much to see and do, one week is just an introduction. We saw seals, dolphins, otters, cormorants and Eagle all here at the Chalet.

The chalet is so cosy and everything you would ever need has been thought of. Our photo memories will remind us, till we come back just how special a place awaits again.

Arlene, Connie, Prasad, Elke & Barney the dog, Callander, May 2nd 2015.

As I write, there is a fabulous sunset across the bay! Words really can't describe the time we have spent here at the Chalet, walks, birds, weather! We have been very lucky to have sunshine, birds we have seen: Heron at the Castle, Cormorants flying into the cove across from the Chalet feeding young, tufted ducks, 2 Eagles, oystercatchers, ringed plovers, red-breasted divers, hooded crows, greylag geese, ravens...... We also have thoroughly enjoyed our walks, taking in the geology of the area.

Overall, we have had the peace and tranquillity here at the Chalet; we are sad to leave, a week is not enough.

Irene & Geoff, Penrith, Cumbria April 25th 2015.

Booked Chalet, as a surprise for my wife Samantha's 40th Birthday, couldn't be happier than when we arrived after 10.30 pm after getting lost and travelling in the fog to the Chalet. The chalet was all cosy and warm with fresh bread and Birthday cupcakes on arrival. The fantastic week had by all (2 teenage daughters and 2 huskies don't want to leave) Weather has been great, visited Eilean Glas Lighthouse, Eagle walk, Callanish Standing Stones, Luskentyre and Stornoway for our black pudding. We saw deer, Eagles and a seal while sitting on rocks across from the Chalet. Thanks again.

Alan, Samantha, Alana, Abbie and Mia & Mylo the huskies, Hamilton, March 28th 2015.

Fantastic chalet!! lots of thought has gone into all the bits & bobs you would need. Love it here on Harris, great week cycling, walking, swimming in the ocean, fishing, just what we needed for our Honeymoon. Jazz the dog is officially knacked. We will be back soon.

Fantastic 2 weeks with wonderful hospitality & good weather. Beautiful views and loved spending our days on the beach, paddling & beach combing. Loved the wildlife and beautiful machair. Great walks. 650-mile drive, but so worth it, amazing! People and places so awesome, we loved every minute and look forward to returning again one day.

Adrian & Sarah, Somerset, June 14th, 2014.

Our first time in the Outer Hebrides was a fantastic experience! The landscape is so stunning and the people friendly. We loved the mountains and Ocean and the constantly changing colours and moods. We saw Eagles, seals and plenty of sheep, of course.

Monika from Austria, Michaela from Switzerland and James from England, May 22nd 2014.

We have had a lovely week; the weather has been mixed, scenery and beaches are stunning. Maggie and Pip the dogs had a brilliant time.

The chalet was beautiful and spotless, well equipped. Maggie and Pip say woof woof for the treat you left for them, we will recommend the Chalet to anyone.

Olive, Wendy, Maggie and Pip the dogs, Borders, May 17th 2014.

Thanks so much for this fabulous week, we had so much luck with the weather, nearly no rain and a real "Summer day" at the beach (20 degrees) and were in the Ocean. Carla had a lot of fun with the sheep and the little lambs. We wish and hope to come back to this special and unique place when we found such a warm welcome, lots of impressions.

Christoph, Cornelia, and Carla, Mainz Germany, April 26th 2014.

Many thanks for all you have done this week and for making us feel so welcome. Wonderful weather and fabulous days exploring Harris, our 3rd visit here and it won't be our last!! The Chalet and location are fabulous.

Kate, Keith, Matthew and Kipper the dog, Yorkshire, 27th July 2013.

Many thanks for this unforgettable week. Your chalet was the perfect homestay for us. We made some great walks in this splendid landscape, Hushinish through Glen Cravadale, Great Bernera, Urgha to Rhenigidale. Cycling to Scalpay was also challenging. Nearby the chalet we enjoyed the views from Cnoc Mor and the superb beaches of Mheilen and Hushinish. We hope to come back because there's so much more to explore and to enjoy. We wish you all the best, the first Belgians who discovered your well-hidden paradise.

Mark, Brigitte & Mats, Belgium, 13th July 2013.

A wonderful week on this beautiful Island, wall to wall sunshine, sightings of Eagles, dolphins, gannets. Lovely walks, beautiful sunsets and an amazing trip to St Kilda.

Judith & Muriel, Hampshire, 8th June 2013.

We have had a fabulous holiday in this cosy chalet which has proved an excellent base for exploring the wild and wonderful Isle of Harris. We have had memorable days at Luskentyre and Callanish, seen Arctic Terns diving for fish in the Ocean and a Golden Eagle soaring above the mountains. The weather has been glorious we were all sunburnt after our favourite walk straight from the back of the chalet over the hills to Cravadal and then back around the cliffs to Hushinish. We have done so much walking this week that Lola's paws are a now a little sore! Thank you for your hospitality. We hope to be back before too long.

Sarah & Iain, William, Flora and Lola the dog, Cheshire 1st June 2013.

We have had a wonderful week in this lovely chalet in a stunning location. Thank you for such a warm welcome and for looking after Tyler when we went to St Kilda. He has enjoyed his holiday as much as we have, and certainly his comfy dog bed. We would love to return and may see an otter next time.

Davina & Howard, Essex, 25th May 2013.

Cold weather but the warmest of welcomes, thank you so much. From sunshine to snow with everything in between. Also learned a lot about sheep.

Tina & Tom, Preston, 4th May 2013.

The weather has been mixed, but we did see the sun every day. It's brill to be back on Harris and the chalet is so cosy and lacks nothing. Your welcome was much appreciated, as were the lovely scones. Thank you and hope it won't be too long before we return.

Jacqui & Mal, 27th April 2013.

Once again we've had the good fortune to enjoy your kind, thoughtful hospitality while having fabulous bright days and starry nights. Only paddling this time but will go home feeling restored and recharged. Can't thank you enough.

Sandra & Witek, Aberdeen, 22nd March 2013.

Back again!! 25 months since our first visit, the same warm welcome, the chalet as perfect as ever, cosy, warm, well equipped, lovely, a perfect place to relax and look out on wonderful sunsets and simply enjoy. Thank you again for the many thoughtful ways in which you've made our holiday special. As before, we've loved the stunning walks and exceptional beaches. We've enjoyed seeing and hearing the rutting stags and popping along the road to see Golden Eagles, maybe next time the gannets will be back. Thank you.

Ian & Sally, 27th October 2012.

Thank you for making this such a wonderful holiday, lovely chalet with everything we needed & more, the wonderful welcome & goodies. Will recommend to everyone, hope to be back ASAP and thanks from our dogs.

Christine, Isle of Gigha, 6th October 2012.

"Do you really want to spend your Honeymoon in Scotland? In September? But it's cold there, are you sure?" we were asked several times when we talked about our plans for this very special holiday. Yes, we were sure and found indeed a pretty "cool" place to stay, rough landscape, fascinating Ocean view, perfectly equipped chalet, but at the same time, we found the warmest place we could imagine, lovely welcome, fresh-baked bread and scones and a special Honeymoon surprise, home from home feeling. You make this beautiful place very special and will therefore always have a special place in our hearts!!

Alex and Kathrin, Hamburg, Germany, 8-22nd September 2012.

We have had a super week;  the chalet is perfect, the surroundings wonderful, not going to say anything about the weather! It's been great and Maggie has been welcomed so much so, we have to come back.

Janet & Jim & Maggie the dog, Staffordshire, 8th September 2012.

The brilliant chalet we wanted for nothing, lovely baking much appreciated. Loved the very friendly wildlife and want to take Bear home, unfortunately, he won't fit in the car!! the weather has been mixed but has still been able to get out every day, walking, mooching, beaches etc, saw dolphins from top of point mid-week, many thanks for your hospitality we will be back.

Nelly, Derek & Josh, Norfolk, 25th August 2012.

After travelling a long 12 hours we received a lovely welcome, thank you very much for the homemade bread and scones & jam which were waiting for us when we arrived! We have had an excellent 2 weeks here, a very welcome break away from the usual hustle and bustle back home! We had a mixture of weather but more often than not it was dry & sunny! we even got a tan! We all enjoyed the beach, and we were a bit wary of the sheep to start with, but they are now our friends! We managed to spot some dolphins on Thursday when we were looking through the binoculars. We went to see the standing stones at Callanish and got lots of photos, also had a nice drive of the Island, very picturesque. We are now all fans of Harris Tweed and got some souvenirs. We will miss this little jewel in the Harris crown.

Alex, Kelly, Nicole & Alastair, & George the tortoise, Stirling, 28th July 2012.

Thank you for the hospitality. A super little place. Lester & Denzil loved the dog bed, neglecting their one from home! Lots of great places to visit, many with cakes! Blackhouse museum a must and brave the walk over the cliffs to the Mheilen Beach - wow. I have a newfound love of sheep; they are so friendly! Thanks again for a lovely week in a lovely home.

Nick, Jenny & Brigid, Glenfinnan, 13th July 2012.

Thank you for the lovely welcome and delicious home baking. The chalet is so thoughtfully kitted out and very comfortable. We've all enjoyed the scenery and wildlife - basking shark, otter, seal, eagle and of course the hens, sheep & doves were the exciting part for Mac & Tosh. We'd love to return.

Ann & Douglas, Mac & Tosh the dogs, Fort William, 30th June 2012.

Thank you so much for your generous and kind hospitality. Your thoughtful contributions to our wedding were much appreciated. You have a lovely chalet in an idyllic location. We also loved your homemade scones and bread, a lovely welcome after a long trip. You have a special wee place here, we've had a great holiday. I'm sure we'll be back. Mirin is also sure to talk about you both, Bear, the sheep & the hens for weeks to come. Thank you again.

Paula, David & Mirin, Renfrewshire, 23rd June 2012.

Perfect!! what dreams are made of! We have had a wonderful week, so relaxing and peaceful. We have so been looking forward to our holiday here, and it hasn't disappointed. The chalet is lovely, the views stunning and the colours!! Thank you for ordering this wonderful weather when the rest of the UK is having rain daily, we've hardly seen a spot! Our first visit to Harris and I don't think it will be our last, we love it here! We have enjoyed spotting the wildlife when on our numerous walks, and from the chalet and rocks across, and also being visited by the sheep and chickens, thank you for letting us stay here.

Kathryn & Ian, Sheffield, 16th June 2012.

Thank you for letting us stay in the chalet, thank you too for a lovely welcome. We have visited many times but this the first time to Hushinish, dogs and children loved the beach. The late-night walk to Traigh Mheilen beach was amazing worth the effort, the weather resulted in a sunburnt head!! This was the best visit we loved, all of it. Thanks again.

Innes, Helen, Isobel & Innes Jr, Cogs & Lulu the dogs. 19th May 2012.

Thank you for your warm welcome we've loved staying in your chalet, have had the happiest week, we've felt so at home and the view, sheep, beach and cosy chalet have all added to it. We recommend the walk to the beach opposite Scarp, the walk on Scalpay to the Lighthouse and Eagle Observatory, more than anything we have enjoyed Hushinish it's a very special place thank you for sharing it with us. We very much hope to see you again. Many thanks too for making Peggy the dog welcome, we'll be taking away such happy memories.

Ellie, Karl & Peggy the dog, London 12th May 2012.

What a fun week we've had, arrived giggling our heads off at the ride we've had to get here including driving through the Castle grounds past the cannons pointing out to Sea (quite surreal) to be greeted with red roses, beautiful cake and Ruby Anniversary card, not to mention scones and jam, Thank you.
We couldn't have asked for better weather and took photos of Golden Eagles against a brilliant blue sky. Visited the Shiants Islands whilst Dotty looked after Basil the dog where we had a magical day and managed to see a few Puffins (my ambition) a Sea Eagle and numerous other birds. To top it all, Christine took us out to their peat beds to show us how peat is cut, taking a few pieces home to burn on our canal boat while thinking of this little piece of heaven.
Margaret, Robert & Basil the dog, Shirley, Surrey 5th May 2012.

We had a super time; the chalet has everything you need and loads of extras, hosts are very friendly. So rare can you find a place that has such peace and tranquillity and surrounded by beauty. We have walked for miles around every corner, a fantastic view. Hopefully, we will return, thank you. Rob, Tracy, Abi, Jack & Eddie and Murphy the dogs, Scarborough, 29th October 2011.

I am also struggling not to buy lots of Harris Tweed! I hope that we will be visiting again, I will definitely be recommending Creagach Chalet to my friends. Laura & Andrew, Ambleside 24th September 2011.

Thank you so much for a great week, Harris is beautiful, the chalet is wonderful and so well equipt, thank you so much for your warm welcome and lovely scones. We've had a lovely time and will definitely miss Harris. The views are outstanding, thanks again for looking after Printa the dog and making our stay pleasant. To be able to witness this setting is a pleasure, add to this the accommodation the trip has become a delight. Polly, Sarah, Ian, Arthur and Printa the dog, Essex 13th August 2011.

Harris is just as beautiful as we had remembered and we have enjoyed showing our oldest son his namesake. We had read the visitor comments on your website and hoped that it wasn't too good to be true, but having spent the week here we too have been captured by its magic. You have been so welcoming we have been impressed with your clean and practical chalet. Thanks for accommodating Darcy, too. The cliff walk to the beach overlooking Scarp is a must I'm sure lots claim this, but in the right weather, it is the best beach in the world. This is really a fantastic spot and a really well-adapted chalet with excellent hosts. Thanks from us all. Gideon, Gaynor, Harris, Carroeg, Neven and Darcy Dog. Gwent, South Wales, 6th July 2011.

What a wonderful place, thanks for sharing it. We had a great time went hiking, explored beaches and saw the butt of Lewis, Carloway Broch and Callanish Standing Stones - all this in the best weather we ever had when we were in Scotland. We stayed at Hushinish Bay for hours on end, Scarista Beach impressed us with its sand and Caribbean colours and above all this, are the big skies and Silence around you, it's a dream holiday for us. Thank you for delicious bread, scones and jam and for all your kindness during the week, we felt really welcome, friendly hosts, a wonderful chalet, a stunning location - nobody could wish for more. Heike, Bernd, Ben, Nick Wettstein, Berlin, Germany July 30th 2011.

Our week seemed to be lasting forever and now has suddenly gone! I wish we'd booked for two! We have had a wonderful time and are already planning our next visit to Creagach Chalet. Had a great day circumnavigating South Harris with delicious homemade soup and huge slabs of cake at the Skoon Art Cafe and seal watching in the bays, but our favourite days have been spent exploring the coves and beaches here, saw a grey seal under the sea cliffs, golden and ringed plovers, lots of deer and an otter in a bay near the Castle. The chalet is so cozy to come back to. We've had breakfast outside every day and Gins on the beach watching the sunset. Thank you Dotty and Christine for delicious scones and bread and for thinking of all those things that we forgot. The eggs were fantastic, best breakfasts! will definitively be getting our bookings for next year. Thank you so much

Jo & Eoghan, London, April 30th 2011.

Thanks for such a warm and friendly welcome to a lovely chalet in a beautiful spot. We've all had a relaxing, peaceful (despite the efforts of the children) and enjoyable week, and what weather!  Who would have thought the children would be swimming in the Ocean in April! The beach opposite Scarp and the cove just round from the main beach at Huisinis were both great. Huiseabhal Mor behind the chalet, a good walk, saw lots of deer and Golden Plover! wish we could stay longer.

Alastair & Gillian Clarkson, Edinburgh, April 17th, 2011.

Great body boarding on Ocean off the cover round from Huisinis bay, amazing sunsets with the sun turning really red one day, lots of wildlife around Huisinis, Sea Eagle, Ravens, Gannets, Merlin hunting Starlings (an incredible sight) Golden Plover and deer, Jamie Clarkson Aged 12.
I like the animals, Freya Clarkson Aged 7.
I liked all the lambs, Eilidh Clarkson, Aged 10.

It has been lovely to meet you; you have been so kind to us! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cosy chalet. Five of us managed to live here very happily for a week. The children have been won over by the magic of this place. You are right Dotty, it really is all here. Seeing Stags and even an otter up close was really special, a reminder of another world, Hope to see you again.

Shona & Jon by card, London, April 10th, 2011.
